M5 Titanium standard extension

M5 titanium extensions are suitable when extension lengths of 30 mm or less are required. These shorter lengths cannot be offered in the high-quality carbon fiber technology because of material and manufacturing reasons. Titanium extensions longer than 40 mm are not recommended. Due to the smaller diameter and the very thin wall thickness design contributes the reduced stiffness and thermal instability. With respect to carbon fiber extensions this leads to increased measurement uncertainty and thus to unreliable measurement results.
