Disc styli
The special technology of the ZEISS VAST XXT probe head does not permit the use of disc styli. When calibrating disc styli, a data error is generated which may lead to wrong measuring results. The use of disc styli without consulting ZEISS is not recommended. In exceptional cases, disc styli can be qualified on ZEISS VAST XXT probes using a special procedure.
