Magnetic Reference Pillar Set

The Magnetic Reference Pillar Set offers you the opportunity to significantly increase the precision of your measurements. Stable transformation is made possible by the arrangement of the pillars and polyhedrons marked with dots in depth and space. Three points in space are required to connect a new measurement to an existing one. It should be noted that a larger triangle ensures a more stable transformation. If the three points are almost in line, there is a risk that the new measurement will rotate around this axis, which could affect accuracy.

Another advantage of the set is its ease of use. Attaching the dot marks to the pillars and polyhedrons eliminates the time-consuming process of sticking and unsticking them directly to the measurement object. This not only saves valuable time, but also reduces the amount of cleaning required. The magnetic attachment allows the pillars to be quickly attached to and removed from magnetic surfaces, increasing the flexibility and efficiency of your measurements.

The Magnetic Reference Pillar Set is ideal for dot marks with a diameter of up to 6 mm and can be combined perfectly with a manual turntable to further optimize your measurement processes.

Reference Polyeder

The Magnetic Reference Polyhedron Set is the ideal solution for distributing point marks outside your measurement object. With this set, you can strategically place reference points in space, which significantly increases absolute measurement accuracy and ensures stable transformations. The point marks can be attached to the polyhedrons. This eliminates the tedious task of sticking and unsticking them to the measurement object and also saves time, as cleaning the measurement objects is no longer necessary for certain applications. The magnets allow the polyhedrons to be easily attached to magnetic surfaces.

The Magnetic Reference Polyhedron Set is suitable for point marks with a diameter of up to 6 mm and can be optimally combined with the Magnetic Reference Pillar Set.

INSPECT Optical 3D Basic eLearning

**Learning objective**
This basic training guides you through all the essentials of working with ZEISS INSPECT Optical 3D – from opening the software for the first time to reporting and exporting your final results.
This training will not only explain all the fundamental tools of the 3D metrology software but will let you see the underlying recurring concepts and workflows, so that you will feel confident to tackle your very own inspection tasks. During the training, you will perform inspections of increasing complexity and analyze, for example, the distances, diameters and angles of measuring objects. You will also learn how to create and use templates, how to perform alignments, how to create reports and how to identify and solve common problems on your own.
